Rise like Lions

I happened upon this poem while reading my Howard Zinn this morning on the train, and I thought these lines were perfect for the photo I posted on Monday. They capture the sentiment I've been feeling these days as well as what I hope the photo communicates.

I've gotten through the first half of Zinn's book, and I am so angry that I am in the process of moving all our money out of our current bank. I'm sure our measly savings won't even be missed by that behemoth, but it's a small step towards aligning our daily lives with what we believe and value.
